About Me

I am a finance professional, being involved in the world of finance in various capacities for a long time. I am a commerce graduate from the University of Calcutta, Hailing from Kolkata, I have worked in various organizations in the city. Coupled with long experience in the financial domain, I have now started giving back to society by trying to make people financially knowledgeable. Having embarked on this mission, I equip myself with various professional certifications from NSE, NISM and FPSB. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and possess sound knowledge on Financial Planning, Mutual Funds, Equities, Derivatives, Personal Taxation, Asset Allocation, Debt Markets and Insurance.

About Work Experience

In the span of the years between 1998 to 2005 I worked in Accounts to know Financial Management in depth which helped me to get a holistic view of the subject. From 2006 to early 2015 I entrenched myself in the stockbroking industry. I was deputed as Branch Manager with Peerless Securities Limited. Being a part of Indiabulls Securities Limited and IIFL was a stepping stone to bigger things and these tasks helped me to grow as a leader in my job role. It was a hallmark of my career that I was always chosen to guide and train the newly joined employees (Relationship Managers) of different houses where I worked. The flair for teaching was picked up during these assignments. I have been a mentor for upcoming finance professionals at State Bank of India, SBI Mutual Fund, Nippon India Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) etc. Further, I am associated with CIEL, FinX, Ambition Learning, Imarticus Learning etc. After having acquired adequate knowledge about the financial domain in various roles in many well known institutions I have decided to dedicate myself to guide and coach in order to make the people at large aware about the financial world and its usefulness.
